New 2024 Ford F150 Models, Release Date, Engine – American: If you’re unfamiliar with the 2024 F-150, welcome! It is the most popular automobile in the United States, and it has always been present in driveways and on job sites. It will soon be available in an electric variant called Lightning.
The F-150’s primary competitors have been the Ram 1500, Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, Toyota Tundra, Nissan Titan, and, most recently, the Rivian R1T. It’s adequate in some versions and fantastic and beneficial in all.

Certainly not. This year’s additions of onboard scales, a clever hitch, and adaptive damping are complemented by an increase in black-trim packages and bed package bargains. The 2024 Ford F150 makes no attempt to conceal its nature as a truck, and why should it? It is capable of far more than its bluff front face, and lofty body sides imply. The top-of-the-line models have leather and wood trim surrounding simple-to-use controls and a large touchscreen, as well as practical amenities like a console workstation and under-seat storage that make the car even better than it appears.
F-150s are available with a choice of five different powertrains. We give it a 7 for comfort and practicality since the most common variant sleeps five people and features a convertible bed. 6 if the regular-or long-cab F-150 is sold at a higher rate than the four-door crew cab. While these variants lack the rear-seat room of the higher-end models, they come standard with a crew cab. It has 43.6 inches of leg space in the rear seat, which is more than some large SUVs offer.
The XLT versions include a foldable center console that can be secured in the split bench seat’s center. There is no rear seat. Bucket seats or a console are available at the front of extendable cabs. Additionally, they feature rear-hinged rear doors and a straight-backed rear bench seat that is too small and uncomfortable for much more than a quick drive around town. Crew cabs offer plenty of legroom in all directions. With leather upholstery, heated and cooled front seats, and the ability to lie down inside the truck, they can be bought.
Engine
The 2.7-liter turbocharged V-6 engine, which comes standard on Lariats and produces 325 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque, is the best option for those looking for more than one engine. The F-150 has a towing capacity of 2,480 pounds, and the 10-speed automatic transmission that comes standard on all of them is rather capable. If you’re looking for plenty of power, the 400-horsepower 5.0-liter V-8 makes a NASCAR infield roar. Additionally, it generates 410 lb-ft of torque, allowing it to pull 13,000 lbs and carry 3,325 lbs.
However, we like the 400-horsepower 3.5-liter twin-turbo V-6 with 500 lb-ft of torque and a towing capacity of 14,000 pounds. Ford’s well-executed hybrid vehicles are always available to those looking to save money. The 3.5-liter V-6 engine is combined with a 47-hp electric motor and a 1.5-kwh lithium-ion battery capable of storing up to 1.5 kWh in this vehicle. You can travel electric-only for around ten kilometers at a pace of approximately ten miles per hour.
2024 Ford F150 Release Date and Price
Prices for the 2024 Ford F150 and the new Lightning edition have not been announced yet, but should be announced shortly. The Lariat is almost $50,000 if you want a crew cab and four-wheel drive. Last year, the XL cost almost $31,000, and the Lariat was our favorite. Almost all F-150s come equipped with automated emergency braking and an 8.0-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. These vehicles have 18-inch wheels and a 12.0-inch touchscreen interface for controlling features such as electric windows and leather seats. Additionally, they include a 2.7-liter turbocharged V-6. When the new Lightning is out, it will be much more convenient to spend more than $80,000 on it.
